Our goal was to evoke a theater experience commensurate with the level of talent present in the drama program. In addition to the upgraded theater technology and lighting, we gave the entire theater house a face lift. The design concept used maple bands that span across the theater and wrap around the audience, giving the illusion of a much larger space without sacrificing intimacy. Angled forms are strategically placed to allow for optimal sound engineering creating a live theater experience that works well for both music and drama productions.

Outside, the theatre radiates out to the center of the campus, providing a focal point. The result was an intimate and inviting setting for students and guests alike to enjoy the theatre and performances hosted within it.
