The District was determined to help North Park heal from the tragic shooting that occurred at their school. They embarked on an ambitious revitalization project with a mission to move forward in a positive, uplifting way. Time and budget constraints presented massive challenges but also opportunities for creativity. The design’s central focus was on safety and security, but also to foster creative and collaborative learning. The school was upgraded with new technology, furniture, lighting, and paint. Vibrant environmental graphics throughout the space results in a colorful, collaborative educational space filled with vitality and inspiration—a space filled with new life.
