Developed as a collaborative effort between San Bernardino City Unified School District, San Bernardino Community College District, the Hilton Hotel, and other industry partners, the hospitality and culinary arts pathway is designed to provide high demand job skills to students in an economically challenged region. The existing program operated out of a makeshift classroom with minimal cooking capability. The District wanted to upgrade its facilities at San Gorgonio High to support this pathway, and take it to the next level while at the same time creating a place for students.
