The new aquatics center with a 25 yards x 38 meters CIF certified pool, bleachers and shade structure, and a new support building with a coach’s office, training room, and storage.
Prior to the new aquatic center, students had to walk or be bused half
a mile to Salle Park, the only community pool in San Jacinto. For half a
century, Salle Park was a gathering spot for residents on hot summer
days. Unfortunately, the pool was closed in 2014 eliminating the high
school’s aquatic program and leaving the community without a pool.
Soboba Aquatics Center makes a splash as it reignites the aquatics
program at SJHS and opens its gates for community use.
